Kamloops Public Works Administration Building

Project Status: Construction Completed 2008

 

Exposed concrete block walls to match adjacent buildings in the complex with fully glazed reception space incorporating sun screens.

 

Additional energy saving devices were incorporated into the project achieving a final completed cost of $3.5 million, below the $3.8 million budget.

 

The building was not LEED registered but incorporated many of the energy efficient and environmental features of a LEED project, as current best practice demands.
